At ITD Assistant (a service provided by IT Destination BD), we are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and their business customers. This Privacy Policy explains how our application processes and protects data collected via Meta Platforms, specifically Facebook and Instagram integrations.

1. Information We Collect

To deliver AI-driven automated responses, engagement tracking, and management on Facebook and Instagram, ITD Assistant collects and processes the following data via Meta APIs:

  • Facebook & Instagram Page & Profile Information: Basic profile metadata, Page ID, Instagram Business Account ID, and Page Access Tokens provided and authorized via Meta Facebook Login during onboarding (including public_profile, Business Asset User Profile Access, pages_show_list, and instagram_basic).
  • Messaging, Comments & Engagement Data: Incoming customer messages, text queries, image attachments, post comments, and page interactions handled via Meta APIs (pages_messaging, pages_read_engagement, pages_manage_metadata, pages_manage_engagement, pages_read_user_content, instagram_manage_messages, and instagram_manage_comments).
  • User Contact Info: Account Email address used during the registration process.

2. How We Use Your Information

We strictly utilize the processed data for the following functional purposes:

  • To analyze incoming customer inquiries and post comments using artificial intelligence models.
  • To generate and deliver instant, automated sales and customer support replies back to Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct Messages and comments.
  • To store individual page prompts and system configurations for multi-tenant page deployment.

3. Data Protection and Sharing

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent personal data or messaging histories to third parties. Data processed through ITD Assistant is securely stored in encrypted database architecture and processed through isolated webhook endpoints solely for system automation.

4. User Rights and Data Deletion

Page administrators reserve the right to disconnect their Meta Business Pages at any time by revoking access in Facebook Business Settings or requesting total deletion of stored credentials by contacting us.
